Security Consultancy

Safe & Sound is constantly evaluating the changing ways in which peoples premises and valuables can be protected.
We are able to offer advice on all areas of Security via our own In-House expertise and associations we have with Specialist Consultants.

This service includes carrying out Risk Assessments, providing Contingency Plans, Chain of Command, Emergency Procedures and determining Staffing requirements and Duties involved.

Security Managers

Safe & Sound provide an appropriately qualified Security Manager who will take specific responsibility for general management of the Security Services provided.
The individual concerned will act as our liaison agent and attend site meetings as required by the client's nominated representative.
We ensure that all those involved in the Management Team, have a positive attitude and are always approachable.

Security Supervisors

All of our Supervisors have in-depth experience of all aspects of Security and have demonstrated skills in Management.
As a general rule, they must have a track record of at least three years successful operation in the mainstream of the Security Industry, including contract work akin to that undertaken by Safe & Sound Security Division.
They are personally selected on the basis of their own demonstrated achievement of high standards and their ability to motivate and lead.

Security Officers

Most of our Officers have a background in various military and civilian services, where they will have acquired qualities of self-discipline and responsibility. They are hand picked by our Management Team for their particular skills relating to our customer's requirements.

They are always presentable, cheerful, and courteous and demonstrate an intelligent approach to their work. They are unobtrusive, except in any circumstances where they are required to take an initiative related to a security consideration. All Officers are supplied with uniform consisting of Black Trousers, White Shirt, Black Tie, Navy Blue Jacket / Jumper and High Visibility Coat / Bib. Their high quality of dress and appearance enhances their own status.

Hospital Security

As Hospitals in the UK become more violent places to work, and theft of drugs, equipment, and even babies, you need a Security Management Company that is knowledgeable and equipped enough to cope.
Safe & Sound UK Limited can provide you with Hospital Security Officers, who will perform essential Security Roles on your Premises.

Our Staff will be happy to undertake the following duties on request:

• Provide a General Security Presence in and around the Hospital Buildings
• Monitor the Reception Area
• Provide a Security Presence for your A & E Department and Post Natal Ward
• Prevent the Theft of Pharmaceuticals and Expensive Medical Equipment
• Report Daily Incidents to Hospital Management
• Perform Regular Car Park & Hospital Grounds Patrols
• Provide Protection for Staff, Patients and Visitors
• Assist the Police in Coordinating Security Operations during Major Incident Alerts

Surveillance Officer

Our skilled personnel can be deployed to detect and report on potential or actual sources of loss within your organisation. With a fleet of unmarked cars - and a comprehensive range of support equipment at their disposal, our investigators are a formidable force.
Often the best method of detecting major causes of internal loss is to place an investigator on your payroll so that he can work alongside your staff without arousing suspicion. Our team of specialist undercover operatives are trained to observe and report on the daily activities of your workforce.
Our management team will liaise with you to advise on how best to use the information that is provided and you will receive a full written report each week.

Mobile Patrols

This service consists of a series of random visits by our Patrol Officer's in a marked security patrol vehicle. Once on site the Officer will conduct a full sweep of the premises to check all is in order and record his findings on report sheets which will be faxed to the customer the following day or at the end of the week.

Should the Officer find that an incident has occurred he will then stay on site until the premises have once again been secured. If necessary he will inform the Police if they are required and a senior member of the Management Team will also attend the site to liaise with the Police. He will also arrange for any broken windows to be boarded up in order to re-secure the site.

Key Holding

Keys to your premises would be locked in a safe in our office along with a copy of your alarm codes. We will issue you with emergency contact telephone numbers for you to give to your monitoring company. In the event of an alarm being tripped either by fault or by an intruder, the monitoring company would then contact us to attend the site. In most cases we can be on site within twenty minutes of receiving the call.
Once on site a full inspection would then be made. In the case of a break in, we would remain on site until the premises could be made secure. Again the Police will be called if necessary and we would arrange for any broken windows to be boarded up.

Backup Service

At all times we undertake to provide a Back-Up Service, as required to cover all Security Officers assigned to the contract.
We also meet in full, any additional short term needs for cover as these arise, for example in response to heightened Security as a result to threats of terrorism.
The personnel involved in such back-up, will be of the same high calibre as those in regular service provision.
